Macca has no Heather grudge
Nov 6, 2006, 13:50 GMT

Paul McCartney attends the show staged by his designer daughter Stella McCartney on the 5th day of the Ready to Wear Spring-Summer 2007 fashion week in Paris, France, Thursday 5 October 2006.
Sir Paul McCartney insists he holds no grudge against his estranged wife Heather Mills.
The former Beatle - who is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with the ex-model - insists he bears no ill-will towards his spouse, despite the nasty nature of the couple's split.
Paul, 64, told BBC Radio 4's 'Today' programme: "Life goes on, I do not hold grudges against anyone. I don't blame anyone for the sad things that have happened to me. I am sad about them because it would stupid to be otherwise.
"There are certain things in life that are personal, and I think a relationship with a partner is intensely personal, and I prefer to keep it that way."
Last month (17.10.06), Heather filed divorce papers which included allegations that Paul had been violent towards her during their marriage.
In his first interview since the contents of the papers was leaked Paul refused to be drawn into a public slanging match, insisting he intends to keep details of the divorce private - if he can.
He said: "It will put less noses out of joint and I think it is a more dignified way to go about things.
"When you are going through difficulties, I think the thing to do for the sake of all the people concerned is to keep a certain dignity and remember that it is a private affair, and that way you will probably get through it better.
"I think life goes on, and it is what you make of it, so I am pretty optimistic.
"I have had a lot of sadness in my life, and I think a lot of people are like me, so I don't particularly feel alone.
"Even through difficult moments, I like to try and look to the other side and think there'll come a time when I'll feel better."
