Simon Cowell says no to marriage

Simon Cowell has vowed to never marry - because he is scared he will suffer the same fate as Sir Paul McCartney.
The British music mogul - whose is worth an estimated £60 million - insists he was turned off the idea of marriage following the former Beatle's highly publicised divorce from Heather Mills.
Simon, who has been with girlfriend Terri Seymour for around four years, said in an interview with Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Marriage is not for me. It just feels really out of date.
"Ask Paul McCartney what he thinks about marriage right now. If Paul hadn't married Heather he wouldn't be in the mess he's in now. Simple as that."
Despite his reluctance to walk down the aisle, Simon doesn't think Terri would behave the same way as Heather - who has accused Paul of being physically abusive to her during their marriage and is demanding £100 million of his fortune in her divorce settlement.
He added: "I must stress that Terri is not Heather Mills - thank God! Terri is just not like that. But when you've worked hard for your money, you've got to look after yourself."
The 47-year-old star also admits he is too old to start a family.
He said: "I think at my age it's too late to have children. Work dominates everything for me so I won't be having my own children."

... and if it weren't for people like Simon Cowell, people like McCartney would still be unknown and playing in bars.
I don't think anyone rides on anyone else's back here. There is a need for each other, plain and simple.
The point is, these days with predatory gold diggers willing to do anything, marriage isn't safe for men, whoever they are
convenient, for a bi-sexual man. he's gay and keeps up this facade with terry. and she's so clearly still in it b/c of his money - who, with any self-respect, would still stand by a boyfriend of 4 yrs, when he refuses to commit, and sleeps around - and gets caught on at least one occasion with that drugged out anorexic nasty creature jasmine lennard?
let me get this straght: your long-term boyfriend gets photod with model lennard leaving his home in the wee hours of the morning after being seen embracing said model, you fly to the uk to see him, call him a 'silly little man', and then go shopping the next day, and make-up?
does that sound like a normal loving relationship built without ulterior motives? it's all a sham. she's pathetic and weak and a disgrace to women. and she's probably exactly like heather mills, otherwise she would have left his cheating non committal ass a long time ago.

I can't believe Simon Cowell would put himself on the same level as Paul McCartney. He would have a long way to go before he could come even close. If it weren't for the likes of the musicians and singers that have the talent like Paul, Simon Cowell wouldn't exist.
