Anna Nicole Smith was admitted to hospital yesterday (31.10.06) with pneumonia.
The former Playboy Playmate was taken into hospital in the Bahamas as a precautionary measure as she recently gave birth.
Her new attorney, Wayne Munroe, said: "She has a slight case of pneumonia. We've had a sudden change of weather here due to a cold snap."
Before she was taken ill Anna Nicole, 38, spoke out for the first time about the death of her son Daniel, who passed away at her bedside in September shortly after the birth of her new daughter Dannielynn.
The former model says she would have died in order that her 20-year-old son could live.
Anna Nicole told TV show 'Entertainment Tonight': "I don't understand why God took him and didn't take me."
She added her new daughter reminds her of her son, saying: "She looks like Daniel. If I didn't have Howard, or my baby, I wouldn't be here."
The blonde actress is currently in a paternity dispute over her new daughter. She has named her lawyer and lover Howard K. Stern as the father, but photographer Larry Birkhead insists he is the biological father and is demanding a paternity test.
Birkhead has even suggested that Anna Nicole has dyed Dannielynn's hair to disguise her resemblance to him.

she is a publicity hounding train wreck that has orchestrated every personal nuance of her life, including the 'sold' last photos of her deceased son to tabloids.
She recently died her infant daughters hair, and is essentialy squatting in another rich man's house in the Bahamas.
she was a stripper and f***ed for bucks- her whole life's M.O.. tragic? yes-manipulative and calculating-without a doubt.
She defines crass and classlessness.
You dont know anything about her personally, so dont assume that what the media has said about her is facts.
She lost her son bimbo, if you are any kind, if you are a mother you would weep for her feeling her lose.
I reiterate, she is a low being, and tragic things did happen to her...
but she doesn't know how to live a good life, so what's the point?
She is the tragedy.
Who or what gives us the right to judge ANYONE..... you limit the quality of your own life the minute you DO judge another human being. The putting down of another is just a cold, ruthless act. Person named Please - take note.
Maybe she can avoid the paternity tests for a while now... I do feel sorry for her as a grieving mother—I have to believe that is real. But that is where the sympathy ends for me. This woman will do anything for money, and will do anything to get attention. If she were a more interesting person I wouldn’t mind it so much. But she is predictable and therefore, very boring—a cardinal sin for a celebrity.
Jillian--stop judging judgmental people. We're here to respond to the article, and the situation in general. That requires judgment. Even if you say nice things, you are being judgmental, because you are stating your opinion... Being an adult requires making judgments!
'Why Anna Nicole Smith chose to go to Entertainment Tonight to break her silence, the same TV rag that gave Larry Birkhead--he of the baby-hair-dyeing suspicions--a platform to announce that he and not Howard K. Stern was the child's true birth father, we have no idea.
We suspect Smith wanted to entrust her story to a media outlet she had actually heard of, and once the small matter of ET meeting her quote was addressed, bygones such as the fact that they had broadcast a two-part interview calling her a bald-faced liar just days after her son's death were quickly forgiven.'- Defamer.com
I don't begrudge the poor girl a thing. She has used what she has to get where she is. She hasn't hurt anyone ,that we know of, and deserves as much happiness as any of us.
Well, folks...she's dead now, too.

For Gods sake leave the woman alone, her son just died. . Weather she is unpredictable or her behavior is out of the norm why can't the press allow her to grieve? Is everyone's lives so empty that we need to know every little detail of someone elses life, myself included at times. I can't imagine the grief she must be carring. She has this wondeful little blessing of a baby and her son passes away. I cant even imagine how she is coping with the pain. I pray she can find a way through the sorrow.
