Unsexy Cruise

Tom Cruise was sacked by his film studio because he is no longer a sex symbol.
The 'Top Gun' star was dropped by Paramount Pictures earlier this year and Sumner Redstone, the chief of Viacom - the company which owns Paramount - has now revealed why they made the decision.
Redstone claims he made the decision not to renew the Hollywood star's multi-million dollar contract because his wife Paula started to dislike Cruise.
He said in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine: "Paula, like women everywhere, had come to hate him. The truth of the matter is I did listen to her.
"His behaviour was entirely unacceptable to Paula and to the rest of the world. He just didn't turn one woman off. He turned off all women, and a lot of men."
Redstone also cited Cruise's erratic behaviour, including the infamous 'couch-jumping' incident on Oprah Winfrey's chat show and his bizarre Scientology beliefs, as another reason.
He added: "He was embarrassing the studio. And he was costing us a lot of money.
"When did I decide to fire him? I don't know. When he was on the 'Today' show? When he was jumping on a couch on 'Oprah'? He changed his handler, you know, to his sister - not a good idea.
"His behaviour cost us $100 million, $150 million on 'Mission: Impossible III'. It was the best picture of the three, and it did the worst.
"The explosion of publicly ending his contract was good. It sent a message to the rest of the world that the time of the big star getting all this money is over. And it is! I would like to think that what I did, or what we did, has had a salutary effect on the rest of the industry."

Sumner Redstone, I think he sometimes forget to look in the mirror. To quote you he is a dried up oid fart, does he know what sexy is? He needs to retire, he is scaring people. Tom, is sexy and still the best.
Tom is still # 1 in my sexy list.

tom cruise is a sorry jerk. he apologized to brooke shields...maybe because katie holmes went through a post partum depression herself. she did after take epidural...MEDICATION!! hmmm...scientologists killed a lot of people and paid off the families so they don't talk about it in the media. scientology is not even a religion. damg people...wake up. aliens are not higher than God. good grief.
I totally agreed with Sumner...Cruise should have been fired a long time ago. He was getting on my nerves. I stopped seeing his movies when he started to criticize pyschiatry and people. He is a turn off. Just because Katie is in awe with his money, it doesn't mean that she's not afraid of leaving him. She lost her identity when she got pregnant with his child.
He could believe in any 'religion' he wants but don't put down others...JERK!
You don't see John Travolta promoting Scientology in public.
For those who agree with Sumner, you're a sorry bunch of losers. Don't be comin' around the theatre to Tom Cruise's movies or I will personally kick you out. Just sit at home and zone out on your meds - afterall you have to be crazy to think Tom Cruise isn't sexy.
Tom is a whacked out cult member. If he had kept his mouth shut, we would never have known the effect that Scientology has had on him. But, he opened his mouth, spouted ignorance about psychiatry, etc.. He needs a psychiatrist himself--for narcissism. However, Tom is an outstanding actor. I haven't decided whether I will see his next film or not. I hope that he learns something from all of this. One can only be so sexist and egocentric and get away with it without some consequences.

Why the sudden hatin? Cruise hasn't said anything derogatory about him since their parting ways. Sumner Redstone is a dried up old fart who couldn't be more unattractive.
Cruise is one of the sexiest stars of our time and always will be. Sumner has a hidden agenda in that he is pandering to those in his clique who own psychiatric hospitals (and their names and hidden agendas against Tom Cruise were recently exposed). What Sumner and his psychiatric henchmen are attempting to do to an honest, decent man and his family is truly grotesque. Because of this I will NEVER go see another movie made by paramount.
I would go see any movie Tom Cruise made just because he is in it.
