British TV star Jonathan Ross has attacked Heather Mills - branding her a "f***ing liar".
The chat show host launched his foul-mouthed tirade against the former model - the estranged wife of ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney - while presenting the Q Awards at London's Grosvenor House hotel on Monday (30.10.06).
During his opening line at the prestigious music awards ceremony, he said: "Heather Mills McCartney - what a f***ing liar.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we found out she's actually got two legs."
Heather, 38, had to have one of her legs amputated below the knee in 1993 after she was hit by a police motorbike while crossing the road.
Ross' vicious quip was met with a cacophony of cheers and laughter from the star-studded audience which included U2, Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, Boy George, Arctic Monkeys, Paul Weller, Moby - who was in a state of shock over the English propensity for drink, and the living soul legend Smokey Robinson.
Ross was referring to allegations made by Heather, earlier this month, that Paul had been "physically violent" towards her during their marriage.
Among the most serious allegations made in court papers lodged by her lawyer included accusations that Paul pushed her into a bath while she was pregnant, pushed her over a coffee table and poured wine over her head before allegedly stabbing her in the arm with a broken glass.

He should of beat her. The only thing worse then a wife beater is a woman committing a false accusation of wife beating.

First, who sets up recording equipment to capture domestic spats except someone pre-meditating divorce/extortion?
Second, even if there's any truth to her allegations (which I personally doubt), it's one thing to claim he did this to her, but to invoke his deceased first wife's name in all of this and claim she was beaten (something that appears to not be in any way verifiable) is outrageous.
Lastly, he was a 'Beat'le. She should've seen it coming from the start. ;-)

I was very skeptical when Paul remarried after Linda died. I felt that this one was going to give him trouble and I was right. If Heather Mills is lying, she deserves NOTHING except to have her name blacklisted in every public media realm in the world.
She has tarnished Paul McCartney's name and reputation. I feel that if justice finds her guilty of all of these accusations, she deserves worse than what she did to him. Her name should be erased - - period.
Unless you know either of them personally, I would like to propose that perhaps you do not know what did or did not happen between them and if you do not really know, it seems unfair to accuse either of them of lying. Shouldn't this be between them?
Surprises me that any one would be stupid enough assign any credibility to a person who makes such ridiculous claims against her husband. 'Paul made her crawl across the floor to the bathroom because because he wouldn't allow a bedpan' ? Come on, perhaps Paul is just like you and me and asked her not to use a bed ban so the place didn't stink and she could go to the bathroom like she always does, no body told her she had to 'crawl'. Now she claims to know about the details of Paul's relationship with his former wife too, how did she imagine that? Will anyone be surprised when she claims that Sir Paul was John Lennons 'real' killer! She is scum.
Sir Paul is really a nice guy and that is where this started, he has been taken advantage of by someone who is basically evil - but there is a bigger picture here that needs to be confronted with urgency - we need 'no fault' divorces in the UK as the current system rewards those who abuse the system to gain a larger settlement than they deserve. The US has 'no fault' divorce States which result in calmer, more objective divorces with less trauma to the children who are already have enough to deal with seeing their parents split. Finally, having suffered at the hands of a similar evil creature who lied and manipulated the system I tend to agree with Jonathon Ross's assertion!
Everyone knows that Heather Mills is nothing but a scheming, lying gold-digger. It is just too bad that Mr. McCartney could not see this before he married her. He was thinking with the wrong brain I guess. Everyone knew from the beginning what she was up to and any judge that would award her anything and even give her custody of that beautiful little girl should be locked up himself. Everyone knows what a loving relationship Paul and Linda had and for this low-life scum bag who just happens to be an ex call girl (or maybe not), lying gold digging witch will get her come uppance. It is just amazing what monsters and liars money can turn people into. When she has to meet her maker, she will definitely have to pay for all the lies and evil things that she is doing right now.
Apparently, Ms. Mills has lost her mind, that is if she ever had one to begin with. She looks like someone that 'the lights are on, but no one is home' as ths song goes. She definitely looks like an evil plotting unhuman piece of nothing. I feel sorry for her parents, because I would be ashamed to even admit that she was my child. I just feel sorry for the little girl that she and Paul have. Little Beatrice will be much better off with her Father than she would be with that piece of garbage.
I feel sorry for the entire McCartney family that they have to put up with this kind of publicity. If the news media would just print the truth instead of all the lies that she is telling things would be much better. Mr. McCartney should have listened to his children to begin with. Hopefully he will get a great attorney and a decent judge that will tell her to take whatever Mr. McCartney is willing to give her and give custody of the little girl to Paul McCartney. I am a grandmother of four and this is how I feel about this situation.
I have to say, that I am surprised by the anger shown towards people that none of you realy KNOW. Just because he was a Beatle does not mean that he is perfect. I don't necessarily believe her either, but the amount of hatred aimed at a complete stranger from some people really shocks me.
Wendy you are a naive lamb. Nobody here thinks Paul can do no wrong. We just recognize that this woman is making up new lies everyday to try to extract what she can. She has already proven that she is immoral with such stupid claims, and frantically makes up even more stupid claims as the days go by, because with people like her there is no conscious, no right and no wrong. She wants and needs the support of naive lambs like you who believe that evil and stupid people dont exist, they do.

i neve like't, heather mills, from the start, she did not seem very loving.
i do feel sorry for the child, and paul must be devastedet.
she seem's to only go after the money. most people here in the US NEVE LIKE'T
HERE. WE WISH HIM LUCK. HE WAS A VERY GOOD HUSBAND& Father BEFORE, AND LOVET
