They did not have a 'fight', and Leto did not try to punch Wood. According to every other report out there (except yours), they exchanged some words, and then Leto grew heated and pulled Wood toward him by the back of the neck and yelled at him, including the quote you gave and one other, something about Leto's brother. Then he shoved Wood and stormed off. The so-called 'fight' was only on Leto's part.

And what does Wood's smoking have to do with the incident, anyway?

jared lito can do whatever he wants when elijah wood thinks he's big enough to bad mouth jared's band, (theyre amazing)... elijah wood should grow up and stop thinking hes better than everyone

Elijah wood dose not think hes better than everyone eals and besides 30 seconds to mars pure suks and jarad is such a drama queen the lozer,elijah is a great actor and the lord of the rings wouldnt be the same without him keep rolin elijah xxx

Lord of the rings sucks ass to quote clerks 2 it was ''three films with noting but walking'' and if elijah wood thinks he's better than everyone else than he can got to hell because HE'S NOT why does he badmouth bands and expect to get away with it? in my eyes he was in the wrong, angering Jared for no reason whatsoever, no wonder he's never in any good films.

Elijah has no taste apparently. Jared has more talent in his little finger. He's a brilliant actor and musician. I would take offense to what Elijah said when there is no basis behind it. He said it wasn't a personal attack but it obviously was. Of course he didn't admit it when confronted. Frodo is a little wussy.
