Paris Hilton mistaken for herself
Oct 27, 2006, 11:20 GMT
Paris Hilton has been left red-faced after being mistaken for herself.
The 'House of Wax' actress and Pamela Anderson were dining at Los Angeles' lavish Koi restaurant last week when another customer approached the heiress and apologetically said: "Don't take this the wrong way, but you look like Paris Hilton."
The New York Daily News newspaper says the embarrassed - and offended - heiress replied: "I am Paris Hilton."
The encounter is not Paris' only social snub in recent weeks.
She was reportedly been banned from another A-list party.
Paris was told not to show up at the week-long Esquire Show House event in Los Angeles because organisers "don't want her type there".
That access denial came days after Paris was reportedly barred from a top New York celebrity hangout, the Gramercy Park Hotel.
The host apparently told his security team not to let Paris in because "the likes of Paris Hilton and her ilk are not welcome here".
Two weeks earlier, Paris was refused entry to Bungalow 8, in New York. She was told by security guards on the door that the club was "full to capacity."

Paris Hilton is a joke herself. She thinks she is above everyone else because her family is rich. I can't believe people are stupid enough to allow this dumb 'chick' to be idolized and become a 'role model'. Her parents should be ashamed to allow their lack of parenting skills to be captured for the world to see. She is racist and stupid. I don't see how she graduated by looking at the way she acts.
HURRY UP AND SEND HER AWAY!!!
