Orlando Bloom minds the gap

Orlando Bloom loves flirting with women while travelling on London Underground trains.

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star says he has always enjoyed using the underground train - known as the Tube - because it gives him a chance to stare at beautiful women.

Bloom, 29, told Britain's London Lite newspaper: "I've always been taken with the Tube. I used to fall in love on the Tube all the time.

"You sit there opposite someone, your eyes meet, nothing is said and then you both get up and go off into your own worlds. It's like this weird underground network and I've always found it fascinating."

The Hollywood heartthrob recently split from on-off girlfriend Kate Bosworth.

Recently he has been spotted on several occasions canoodling with Tom Cruise's ex Penelope Cruz.

The newly-single 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star was seen with the 'Volver' actress - who used to date Tom Cruise - at in a Los Angeles nightclub last month.

One onlooker revealed: "They were definitely together and holding hands."

Despite the canoodling a spokesperson for Penelope denied the pair are dating.

Penelope is not the first star Orlando has been linked to.

He has also been spotted canoodling with 'Kill Bill' actress Uma Thurman on the set of a commercial she was filming.
