Naomi Campbell was arrested yesterday (25.10.06) for allegedly scratching her drugs councillor’s face.
The supermodel was arrested at her London home after her therapist walked into a police station with her face covered in scratches and claimed the 36-year-old had assaulted her.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "The marks were so red you could tell the attack had only recently happened."
Naomi is renowned for her vicious temper. This claim is the ninth alleged assault in eight years.
Police said: "A woman aged 36 was arrested after an alleged assault at an address in Westminster at approximately 1.20pm.
"She was taken to a central London police station. Last night she was bailed and will attend a station on a date in October."
A spokesman for former drug-addict Naomi said: "We believe there has been a misunderstanding. Once police have investigated we are sure this will be resolved satisfactorily."
In 1998 Naomi’s assistant sued the model for threatening to throw her from a car. Naomi admitted the offence and underwent treatment for anger management.
Since then she has been accused of assaulting several of her staff, including claims she held one assistant hostage and beat her. In March this year it was alleged she attacked a maid with her mobile phone, leaving her covered in blood.

One of these days whe will punch, gouge, stab,or otherwise wound somebody more important and richer than herself and then, we'll see some justice. Or maybe she'll run up against somebody as vicious and grotesque as she is, then we'll see some pretty justice.

For someone who makes a living off of her face, she does a lot of assaulting other people. And scratching faces, and throwing phones at peoples heads. I hope one of these days she gets it back real good….so good, they @#$% up her face real nice. She seems to be on a roll, so she will eventually mess with the wrong person and be very sorry.
They should throw this bitch in jail. Rich snob who thinks shes above the law; and rightfully so, society lets her get away with it. I hope someone beats her down, and takes her face TCM style.

She's too pretty for jail!! The judges don't wanna take the chance So this is like the eighth offence, huh! Damn! Girly needs serious anger management. Ok I think THIS time she should go to do jail. If Lil Kim can do it so should Loose Naomi.She should count her blessings in life. Her Dad abandoned her - she doesn't even know who is? And the love of her life, her Mother is dying of Cancer. One would think she would pull her life together & realize what's important. Naomi's got her health, beautiful looks & lots of money. So why doesn't she make something spectacular out of her life instead of shaming herself? Look at ex Models Tyra Banks & Heidi Klum for example - they've moved on to even more successful careers.

If someone would just lock Naomi and Heather Mills-McCartney in a padded cell together. Naomi could claw Heather's eyes out and Heather could take off her leg and beat Naomi over the head with it and, knowing they were restrained and off the streets, the rest of us would feel safe to once again read the morning papers without any of the relentless and tiresome garbage from either of them.
why you guys worried alot, this is how it works...imagine being a millionaire and cant get out for scratching someones face...btw most of the time the charges are droped by who ever rasied them after they get paid a nice amount of money..so they are not all really above the law its by the victims own will. the president is not above the law...but money talks!

Ghetto???? Naomi Campbell was born in London, England to Jamaican parents & grew up in normal surrondings. Financially her family wasn't rich but they weren't scoundering for food either. Her Mother is Beautiful(looks like Tyra Banks actually) and was herself a fashion model? Ms. Campbell was discovered on the streets of London while walking to high-school. So it's been a long long time since Miss Thing has been with out money. Naomi has had the best of everything. Yes she's worked very hard for it! But she should have manners because she was raised properly, trust me I know.
So just because someone's Black doesn't mean they naturally have migrated from the Ghetto! Educate yourselves.

Repeated charges of, and arrests for, physical assault (nine in eight years!) is a wee bit more than bad manners.

and what will happen to Naomi over this assault...? Absolutely nothing. Because she is rich and famous she will be allowed to flout the law with nothing more than a slap on the wrist (as can Pete Doherty, Kate Moss et al), whereas if your average Joe (or Jane) assaluted nine people in as many years they would be locked up as a danger to the public. Hoorah for the hypocritical criminal justice system!
