Gwen Stefani's weighty battle, post baby

Gwen Stefani says losing her post-baby weight has been a nightmare.

The 'Wind It Up' singer has revealed it took five months to shift the extra pounds she piled while pregnant with son Kingston.

She confessed to US radio station KIIS FM: "Let's just talk about how hard it's been. It's been really hard, but it's almost gone."

Gwen was also happy to reveal her slimming secrets - although she admits she regularly falls off the fitness wagon.

She explained: "I jog regularly and I've just been eating healthy, although I do cheat every day at least once."

The singer - who is married to former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale - says she can't wait to go on tour with Kingston next April.

Gwen gushed: "I announced I was pregnant during my last tour. Now I'm excited to go out there and have the baby on the outside. He's the greatest thing in the world.

"And now he finally has enough hair to do something with. I was trying to give him some cooler looks."

Gwen's second solo album - entitled 'The Sweet Escape' - is due out on December 5.
