Haley Joel Osment has admitted to drunk-driving. The 'Sixth Sense' star pleaded no contest to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of possession of marijuana when he appeared in court in Los Angeles on Thursday (19.10.06).As a result, 18-year-old Hayley Joel - who didn't appear in court - was ordered to attend six months of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, told to undergo 60 hours of alcohol rehab and education, was put on probation for three months.He was also ordered to pay $1,500 in fines and penalties.The actor was arrested and charged after he lost control of his vehicle while driving to his Los Angeles home in July.The 18-year-old's Saturn car collided with a brick pillar and flipped over, according to Lieutenant Greg Sisneros of the Los Angeles county Sheriff's department.Sisneros also revealed the Oscar nominated star - who was the only person in the car when it crashed at 1am - was foolishly not wearing a seat belt and was lucky to have escaped with only minor injuries.Hayley Joel has starred in a string of hit films, including 'A.I.', 'The Sixth Sense' and 'Pay It Forward'.
