Oct 19, 2006, 16:32 GMT
Ray Winstone has admitted he is a "crybaby".
The British actor - who plays a gangster alongside Jack Nicholson in Martin Scorsese's new film 'The Departed' - says, despite playing hard characters on the big screen, he has a sensitive side.
He told Britain's Now magazine: "I cry all the time. I cry when I'm happy and I cry when I lose my temper. I'm just a big crybaby."
Ray is famous for his tough guy roles.
In cult 2000 film 'Sexy Beast' he played a retired gangster opposite Sir Ben Kingsley and in 'Nil by Mouth', which was directed by 'Batman Begins' star Gary Oldman, he starred as an alcoholic wife-beater
Meanwhile, Ray has admitted he loved kissing Angelina Jolie in their new film 'Beowulf ' - a classic adaptation of an old English poem.
He said: "It was fantastic! Angie's a great kid. When I got home I said to my wife, 'I had a b*****d day at work, I spent all day kissing Angelina Jolie.' She said, 'Well, somebody's got to do it.'"
