Carmen Electra needs to figure out her jazz, then find a man

Carmen Electra is taking a break from men.

The former 'Baywatch' actress - who was married to guitarist Dave Navarro for three years before they split in July - admits she is feeling lonely after the separation but is not looking for romance.

She told Us Weekly magazine: "I'm not looking. I just want to be alone for a while. But it's scary you know? And you feel lonely, you want to grab onto something, but then you're not really dealing with the experience. You're just looking for a distraction. I want to feel the experience."

The 34-year-old actress insists she and Navarro have remained good friends despite the break-up.

She added: "We're still really good friends. I don't regret it. Not everything always works out, but we're still friends. That's all that matters."

The single star now wants to focus on herself and enjoy her independence.

She said: "It's been fun because I've had more time to hang out with my friends It's just nice to reconnect and do fun stuff and have sleepovers, dancing, fun girl stuff."
