Oct 17, 2006, 17:06 GMT
Bruce Willis has been given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The actor - accompanied by his daughters, his ex-wife Demi Moore and her new husband Ashton Kutcher - admitted it was a lifelong ambition to receive the honour.
Speaking at a ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday (16.10.06), Bruce said: "I used to come down here and look at these stars and I could never quite figure out what you were supposed to do to get one.
"Time has passed and now here I am doing this, and I'm still excited. I'm still excited to be an actor."
The actor - whose star is the 2,321st to be installed in front of the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre - was also flanked by a string of star friends he had invited to share in his big day, including Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner, Sylvester Stallone, Don Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton.
Bruce - who shot to fame in the Emmy award-winning TV series 'Moonlighting' - has had a string of box office hits including 'Die Hard', 'The Sixth Sense', 'Pulp Fiction', 'Sin City' and 'Twelve Monkeys'.
He is about to start filming the fourth 'Die Hard' movie, 'Live Free or Die Hard', which will be released in the US on June 29 next year.
