Eva Longoria's Paris love rescue
Oct 12, 2006, 14:56 GMT
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's relationship was saved by Paris, friends have claimed.
The couple - who last week admitted they were going through a rough patch but denied splitting - are crediting a trip to the 'City of Love' for making them realise how much they loved each other.
One friend of the couple told People magazine: "The trip seems to have rekindled everything."
When cracks started appearing in the relationship, Eva jetted off to Paris - where basketball player Tony was competing - to spend a few days taking in the sights and dining at lavish restaurants.
Eva's spokeswoman, Liza Anderson, confirmed: "There is a genuine love there. They are trying to work things out."
Meanwhile, Eva was recently injured on the set of 'Desperate Housewives'.
The actress - who plays saucy seductress Gabrielle Solis - had to be taken to hospital after she slipped and bruised her ribs last week.
Despite the injuries, the actress was back on set within a matter of hours.
