Mischa Barton's Brit food fetish
Oct 11, 2006, 14:58 GMT
Mischa Barton loves English food.
The former 'O.C.' actress, who was born in London but moved to New York when she was just five, admits she can't get enough of English cuisine, especially mashed potatoes and mushy peas.
She said: "I love all the mashed potatoes, the mushy peas and the Brussels sprouts. And oh my God, Cadbury's chocolate! It is so much better than Hershey's which we have in America."
Mischa spent her summer in London training at the world famous acting school Rada, and during her time in the UK capital she also fell in love with high street clothing giant Topshop and British TV shows, including popular soap opera 'EastEnders'.
The 20-year-old actress admits she relished the chance to go back into education and learn more about acting.
She said: "People seem confused about the idea of me going to school but I love learning. My course was about Shakespeare and we hardly did any of that at school, it was really exciting to read all the plays."
