Kate Winslet first realised she wanted to be an actress while sitting on the toilet.
The actress - who has starred in a host of hit Hollywood films, including 'Titanic', 'Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind' and 'Iris' - decided on what career she wanted at the age of just five while relieving herself.
She told the New York Daily News newspaper: "I clearly recall the moment. I was five and on the toilet. I thought, 'If my mother doing housework was on TV, people would think she was a good actress because she's doing these things but being real.' That's when I realised I wanted to act."
Winslet, 31, also confessed she still frequently makes important decisions in the privacy of her toilet.
She said: "I do most of my best thinking there. It's hard to describe, but I often get a sense of absolute certainty. Maybe this is the part of me that is not very business savvy but I never think, 'Oh, this or that will be good for me'."
