Hewitt's lucky escape

Britain's Princess Diana's former lover, James Hewitt, has narrowly escaped losing his penis in a horrific accident.
Hewitt, 48, who had an affair with the late princess when she was married to Prince Charles, suffered a two-foot gash from his knee to upper thigh when he fell through a plate-glass window at his Spanish holiday home.
The shards of glass left a deep wound that required 27 stitches and Hewitt was reportedly lucky to escape a serious injury to his genitals.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "He tripped over and crashed through the window onto the ground floor balcony. It was amazing that James had managed to tumble through the window. He must have hit it with considerable force and was lucky to escape a horrifying injury to his penis. The cut is so deep that his kneecap was exposed."
The former British household cavalry officer, who had a five-year romance with Diana, has reportedly enlisted the services of a young blonde nurse, who bears a striking resemblance to the princess, to help him change his bandages.
