Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt arrive in Pune

Pune, Oct 5 (IANS) The wait for Hollywood star duo Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is finally over - both of them landed in the western Indian city of Pune Thursday evening.
'First they went to Mumbai and from there they took a flight to Pune. They have just reached the Pune airport and arrangements are being made to take them to their destination,' said a knowledgeable source present at the airport.
The much anticipated visit of the celebrity couple for a month-long shooting schedule has generated tremendous excitement, though the details about their stay has not been revealed yet.
'Some of their crew members arrived yesterday,' the source added.
The couple are expected to stay either at prominent builder Avinash Bhonsle's Baner Road farmhouse in west Pune or in a five-star hotel, most probably Le Meridien.
Angelina and Brad are here to shoot the film 'Mighty Heart', based on the real-life story of American journalist Daniel Pearl who was beheaded by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002.
Angelina will play the role of Pearl's wife Mariane against Dan Futtermann who is being cast in the role of the slain Wall Street Journal reporter.
