The word on set at The View is commander-in-chief, Barbara Walters, runs the show. If you don't believe it, just ask anyone on set with her.
TMZ reports that sources connected with the show say Barbara is going out of her way to make it clear to everyone, including newcomer Rosie O'Donnell, that she's the "capo di tutti capi," "jefe," and queen bee.
Barbara has been on the show nearly every day since Rosie debuted. TMZ speculates that " it's utterly obvious to everyone connected with the show that Barbara is asserting herself to all and sundry both backstage and on the set."
TMZ spies report newcomer O'Donnell during commercial breaks, cruises the audience, posing for pictures with audience members and is being a good girl.
Barbara has been all business and TMZ reports she wants to keep it that way.
