Kate Moss and Doherty: Co-dependency or true love?

The recovering addict Doherty left The Priory clinic, with a visible black eye, and was driven straight to kate Moss' house in London's St John's Wood district. 

Kate, 32, ran into the street to greet the babyshambles leadman and current media trainwreck before they travelled to Heathrow airport together to fly to Ireland for
Pete's tour with his band.

Britain's Daily Star newspaper reports an unnamed source saying: "Jumping straight out of rehab and on to the road is a brave move. Pete's going to be plunging himself into a world that supports a lifestyle he's trying to leave behind.

"It's very likely that he'll come into contact with people doing drugs and
for a former high-dependency user, that's going to be very hard to resist.

"But Kate's going to be there for him every step of the way.

"Having her by his side will make it easier for him to resist any desire to slip back into his old ways."

The source added: "We know Pete and Kate are planning to marry, although they're not sure when. They're just trying to get their lives together at the moment.

Moss then surprised the sell-out crowd by taking to the stage at Pete's first show since he checked out of rehab for drug addiction.

Kate, sporting a black sweater mini-dress, and Pete belted out the track 'La Belle et La Bete' - which translates as 'Beauty and The Beast'.

One fan said: "It was a fantastic moment. Everyone went wild. Kate looked sensational - and she sounded great."

Kate, who exited the stage after one song to take photographs of the band, left the crowd screaming for more at Carlow's Music Factory, Ireland.

The 32-year-old model also ignored Ireland's strict smoking ban in public places by chain smoking throughout the show.

When asked about the possibility of the pair marrying in Ireland, Pete blushed and said: "No comment."
