Cynthia Nixon's lesbian let down

Cynthia Nixon says coming out as a lesbian was an anti climax.
The 'Sex and the City' star left her male partner Danny Mozes and their two children, nine-year-old Samantha and Charles, three, after falling in love with Christine Marinoni two years ago.
She explained to New York magazine: "I never felt like there was an unconscious part of me that woke up or that came out of the closet. There wasn't a struggle, there wasn't an attempt to suppress.
"I met this woman, I fell in love with her and I'm a public figure."
However, Cynthia, 40, was surprised by how much attention her lifestyle choice received.
She revealed: "I feel like there was an enormous temperature spike. There were paparazzi outside my house. My girlfriend had the English press on her parents' lawn. Every person she went to high school with got a phone call. They almost put me on the cover of People magazine. And then it died, because there wasn't really anything to say."
Cynthia mused: "I can't remember in what context they tell people this, but if someone is chasing you, stop running. And then they'll stop chasing you."

Paul- while I respect most opinions, I have to say that I found yours not only stereotypical but frankly quite ignorant. You can't possibly presume that one is a lesbian because of some repressed anger toward men. Sometimes, believe it or not, love just happens and it doesn't matter what your background or if you had positive male influences. Essentially in the end, it is no ones business but our own...gay, straight or indifferent. Would you have had cared as much to write such a comment if her partner were a beautiful blonde or an ugly man? What exactly angers you so much?
I was just wondering if Paul's Ex Girlfriend left him for another woman, or if he is that homophobic because the feelings he has toward other men frighten him.

How could you write something so ignorant like that? If she wanna be a woman then let her be, hell. It ain't that serious. Love has no gender, race, etc...
