Do you think Katie will be better off with someone else? She made her choice. why can't you people support her or leave here the heck alone. She love the guy, so whay if he show it differently? He has found his soul mate, If she wanted to leave she could of, she chose to stay.

She wants her children to be raised by their Dad, what is so wrong with that? You people have children and they do not know who their fathers are, well, good for her shje want them to know him, So, Shut Up~!!!

First I am married... so I know who the father of my kids is. As I believe that I should not have sexual relationship before marriage as well having Bastard kids
2nd I hate the guy he is so crazy!!!!
She is so sweet and he trapped her by acting so nice and by promising her of marriage...
He made her get pregnant without getting married first.
And then he starts to make selfish excuse to not marry her.
Why he wants her to change her religion? He is control freak and she is better off without him.
Look at Nicole Kidman she become more happy and relaxed and found her self after he left her.
And what about Penelope Cruz???? She is happier now than when she was under his spell.
Kate now looks like she is under his spell and at one point she will be over it.
And then she will find her self has lost many years of her life with him.
The only good thing out of this relationship is she got baby.
So I just pray that she have the strength and the help from her family before it is too late...
And you SHUT UP not me…..

Wow, you truly are infantile. Who gave you the right to judge someone's happiness based on your own warped views of their religious beliefs?

I could just as easily say you are completely nuts because you think a woman who has REPEATEDLY said how happy she is with Tom, should leave him. You have truly lost it and deserve the straight jacket that's coming your way. It's your type that breaks up happy families and calls it the right thing to do. It's your type that makes the lives of other people miserable. So get over your hypercritical self.

When someone says they are happy, to second guess that and say you know better just makes you look like an ass.

I normally don't post online, but I had to make an exception today.

It does not make her look like an 'ass' to speak out on behalf of Katie Holmes. There are many occasions in which people say they are happy or think that they are and in fact, are in unhealthy situations. Think of Jim Jones' followers in Guyana (Jonestown)or the thousands of women in emotionally and/or physically abusive relationships. Someone can be in trouble and not know it.

While the other writer did seem to have a certain set of values, I did not see that she specifically objected to Tom's religion. She indicated that she thinks Tom wanting Katie to change her religion seems controlling. John Travolta has been a Scientologist for years and he has not received anywhere near the level of criticism that Tom has gotten as of late. In fact, years ago, Tom talked a lot about how Scientology helped him overcome his dyslexia, gave him confidence, etc. and those statements didn't affect his popularity or box office draw. I certainly could not care less what religion Tom Cruise (or anyone else for that matter)follows as long as no one is hurt by it. It was the oddness of his recent behavior that caught my attention. That and the marked change in Katie's personality are what seems to be concerning most people.

Can people change actually whatever is going on with Tom and Katie? Nope. Absolutely not. If she's not listening to concerned friends and/or family, she certainly isn't going to care about the opinions of the general public whom she doesn't personally know. She might well be perfectly happy and safe or she might be being controlled or brainwashed. Either way, there's not a thing any of us can do about it.

Nevertheless, if people believe that Katie is in an unhealthy relationship, they certainly have the right to say so. Just as I respect Katie's right to choose whomever she wants as a boyfriend, fiance, or husband, I respect an individual's right to speak out about that union if they so desire.

And, by the way, you just attacked the other writer as being 'infantile' for stating her beliefs and for not respecting/accepting what another (Katie) has expressed. How is your response and subsquent criticism of her opinions and beliefs any different?

Thank you Lea for understanding me, and I agree with you with every word you had said.
Yes this person who is attacking me looks like have problems and lots of it … so I am not going to reply back to her as she seems wacko,
I used to like Tom Cruise but after his UN acceptable behavior which cost him lots (as paramount has refused to renew his contract with him) and I am not sure if any studio will ever work with him after that,
I feel sorry for Katie as she does look not happy, and she looks as if someone has brainwashed her…
And I am not attacking his religion but I am attacking that he is forcing her to change her religion so he will marry her...
If my husband who I have been married to for 11 years try to change my religion in this way I will be out of the door ….

I love Travolta so much and I respect him a lot and when you look at him and his wife you the normal love and normal happiness which makes you have smile in your face but tom and Katie makes you have worried face that what this crazy man is up to.
