TV op' for Green
Sep 21, 2006, 16:20 GMT
US comedian Tom Green plans to film an operation on his broken leg.
The entertainer - who also filmed his cancer battle - intends to allow cameras to record his upcoming surgery.
He said: "It worked with my cancer special so why not try it with my broken leg."
Green, 35, was skateboarding in a parking lot last week when he fell and thought he had suffered a sprain - but X-rays later showed he had broken his leg.
The surgery has been scheduled for Thursday (21.09.06) and Green is terrified.
Writing on his website, he said: "I admit I am worried about this surgery. I hate that loss of control. The fact that people are cutting away at you, while you sleep."
Green - who was married to 'Charlie's Angels' star Drew Barrymore - is also planning to host his 'Tom Green Live' show just hours after his operation.
He said: "I'm thinking it may be funny to still do a show Thursday.
"Maybe play some operation footage and bring on the surgeon. I'll be all high and groggy. I guess we might as well have fun with this broken leg thing."
This is the third bone the 'Freddie Got Fingered' has broken in six months.
He wrote on his site: "I've been telling myself I'm going to be more careful. What I was trying to do wasn't all that dangerous.
"This is the third bone I've broken in six months. What is happening here?"
Footage of Green breaking his leg and undergoing surgery will be shown on www.maniatv.com and www.tomgreen.com.
