Guy Berryman's father joy

Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman has become a father for the first time.
The rocker's wife Joanna gave birth to a baby daughter on Sunday (17.09.06). The tot weighed in at a healthy 7lbs and both mother and baby are said to be doing well.
Guy and Joanna have called their new arrival Nico and both parents are said to be "thrilled".
The happy couple have resisted the urge to follow in Guy's bandmate Chris Martin's footsteps and name their daughter after a fruit.
Chris and actress wife Gwyneth shocked the showbiz world when they announced they were calling their first child Apple in May 2004.
'Shakespeare In Love' star Gwyneth gave birth to the couple's second child in April this year. They named their son Moses after one of Coldplay's songs.
