Hilton's no to comedian Coogan
Sep 19, 2006, 13:53 GMT
Paris Hilton refused to let womanising British actor Steve Coogan into her home after a night of drinking.
The hotel heiress met the 'Around the World in 80 Days' star at Los Angeles' nightclub Hyde, where he persuaded her friend Kimberly Stewart to knock back shots of spirits with him.
However, when the blonde pair snubbed Coogan's advances to go home, the comic actor decided to follow them back to Paris' house.
A source is quoted by Britain's The Sun newspaper as sayng: "Kimberly did a few shots with Steve then backed off because she thought he was getting too friendly.
"He carried on chatting to Paris but wasn't happy to end it there when the girls said they were leaving.
"He got a taxi to take him to Paris' home and ended up banging on the door for an hour asking to be let in. But Paris refused."
Rejected Coogan - who Paris has apparently nicknamed 'Courtney's Creep' because of his fling with rocker Courtney Love - was forced to return to his hotel, the exclusive Chateau Marmont.
The source added: "She wouldn't touch him if he was the last man on Earth."
During his stay in Los Angeles, the 40-year-old actor - who is the US to try and sell his two British comedy shows 'Saxondale' and 'Nighty Night' - has already been spotted getting cosy with veteran model Janice Dickinson.
Onlookers said they were "all over each other" at the hotel Mondrian, where Coogan has hired out another room.
