Denise Richards denies engagement

EPA/PETER FOLEYThe 35-year-old-actress has been dating the Bon Jovi guitarist for months and it was claimed that Sambora - who is currently divorcing Denise's former friend actress Heather Locklear - had popped the question.Denise's attorney, Neal Hersh, has now denied the reports insisting they are completely untrue.Hersh told gossip website TMZ.com: "There is no truth to any of the rumours that Denise and Richie are engaged. They are not."The couple made their first public appearance together at last Thursday's (07.09.06) Fashion Rocks concert, in New York.Denise was spotted wearing a £55,000 diamond ring which Richie, 47, had given her a week before.The former Bond girl recently agreed divorce terms with estranged husband Charlie Sheen.As part of the divorce the 'Wild Things' actress agreed to drop a restraining order against the 'Hot Shots' actor which required him to stay at least 300 yards from his wife and their daughters, Sam, two, and Lola, one, except for supervised visits with his children. Although the pair agreed divorce terms in August the legal separation is still yet to be finalized. (C) BANG Media International
