Emilio Estevez is engaged.
The 80s icon - who has starred in a host of hit films, including 'Stakeout', 'The Breakfast Club', 'St Elmo's Fire' and 'Young Guns' - popped the question to writer Sonja Magdevski last Christmas but only confirmed the pending nuptials at the Venice Film Festival.
When asked when the big day would be the actor - who is attending to event to promote his new movie 'Bobby' - said: "Don't know yet. Gotta get through this."
The union will not be the first time Emilio has tied the knot.
The 44-year-old actor - who has been dating Sonja for almost two years - was married to Paula Abdul for two years but they split in 2004.
He was also in a serious relationship with model Carey Salley, with he has two children with - 22-year-old Taylor and Paloma, 20.
Emilio was also briefly engaged to his 'St Elmo's Fire' co-star Demi Moore.
