Jessica Simpson dumped by John Mayer

Jessica Simpson has been dumped by new boyfriend John Mayer, after just one week.
Friends of American pop star Mayer have said he felt the 'Dukes of Hazzard' actress was using him to get attention.
A source close to Mayer told Us Weekly magazine: "The thing between Jessica and John was a two that her camp spun into an 11. John thinks it's a desperate attempt to stay in the spotlight."
News that Jessica and Mayer were an item broke last week when the couple were both suffering from laryngitis at the same time.
A friend of 'Newlyweds' star Jessica was even quoted by People magazine as saying they were "in love".
Jessica is trying to promote her new album 'A Public Affair' in the wake of her divorce from 'Newlyweds' co-star Nick Lachey.
Lachey is enjoying a very public new relationship with MTV presenter Vanessa Minnillo.

She did the same with Nick. She went out for a couple yrs, Daddy said its not good for your image & they broke up. Her album did bad, so they got back together. Then came the Newlyweds and her stardom. She was nothing without Nick years ago, she is nothing without Nick now. I just hope he isn't stupid enough to take her back and believe her bull. I am a 40 yr old women. My daughter introduced me to 98 degrees, with their 1st album. I saw them in concert 2xs and they were awesome. What I liked most was the ability to sing with no music no background no techo crap. They could harmonize like crazy. They never made it as big as the Back Street Boys or N'Sync but they were so much more talented. They were never given a fair shake. I have been to atleast 50 concerts throughout my life and those guys shocked the daylights out of me. I have seen the Rolling STones, Foreigner, Kinks, Elton John, and other amazing people, but these guts needed only a microphone. I was quite impressed. I also was upset that Nick is said to have rode Jess' coat tails.
