Jade Jagger to be dropped?

Jade Jagger is reportedly being dropped from her job as creative director of exclusive jewellers Garrard because of her outrageous demands. Jade, the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger, has held the position for four years, but reports claim her contract will not be renewed as she has requested perks "even her father wouldn't demand."A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "It looks like Jade's £1.3 million a year contract won't be renewed. They've had a great working relationship but some of Jade's requests have taken their toll. She wants first class air travel, assistants and a driver and Garrard feels it's a bit much."Jade, 34, who has also designed and made her own jewellery, was invited to join Garrard in 2002 to revamp the company's image.A spokesman for the jeweller said: "We are in discussions to renew her contract which expired in June."Garrard has also denied rumours that jeweller-to-the-stars Stephen Webster is to take over Jade's role in the company.(C) BANG Media International
