EPA/PETER FOLEYThe rapper-turned-actor admires the two Hollywood heavyweights because they have starred in some of his favorite films, including 'Heat', 'Goodfellas', and 'Cape Fear'.He told Britain's FHM magazine: "You know when De Niro is in 'Cape Fear' and he is hanging under that car? That's one of the most ill scenes ever. Pacino's a bad man too though. 'Heat' is one of my favourite movies because they're both in it."In 1991, Ice-T began his own serious acting career, playing a police detective in Mario Van Peebles' film New Jack City, followed by a lead role performance in Surviving the Game. Critically aclaimed in his own right, Ice-T plays Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola on Dick Wolf's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Another TV series he starred in was Players. He also appears in the movie Leprechaun in the Hood.Ice-T is also a voice-over artist, and did the voice of Madd Dogg in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and appears as himself in Def Jam: Fight for NY. The fated Dave Chappelle's Show has Ice-T as himself presenting the award for "Player Hater of the Year." He was dubbed the "Original Player Hater."Meanwhile, Ice-T insists he is sick of being confused with fellow rapper-and-actor Ice Cube.He fumed: "I get called Cube every day but once I got called LL Cool J. I mean, don't just call me the name of the first rapper that comes into your head."(C) BANG Media International
