Nick Lachey is officially over ex-wife Jessica Simpson.
The pop star has told friends new girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo has helped him forget about Jessica and cope with their divorce.
A source close to Nick revealed to People magazine: 'Up until about a week ago, he was still pretty obsessed with Jessica. He was devastated. But now he's over it.'Vanessa hasn't said she loves him yet but they get along really well and he stays with her when he is in town.' Meanwhile, Nick is to start his own basketball team. The singer has teamed up with long-time friend A.J. DiScala and a host of other celebrities, including Stacy Keibler from 'Dancing With the Stars' - to form The Hollywood Fame. DiScala explained: 'We're excited about bringing highly skilled basketball players to the fans of Los Angeles. 'We are creating a unique family entertainment option at affordable prices.' The team - which will play its home games at the Los Angeles Sports Arena - will launch its inaugural season this November.
