Hilary Swank\'s latest on deck movie for release is The Black Dahlia. Swank plays socialite Madeleine Linscott and cop Bucky Bleichert (Josh Hartnett) in the 1940s thriller \'The Black Dahlia\', directed by Brian De Palma. The actual Black Dahlia case is still considered unsolved, though author James Ellroy is convinced it was Dr. George Hodel-a certified genius and surgeon who possessed the skills needed to dissect the posed and mutilated corpse of the Dahlia, as she was found by LA detectives. \'The Black Dahlia\' will be released in the US on September 15, 2006. According to a National Enquirer report, the two-time Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank in the aftermath of her break up with Chad Lowe has been seeing her CAA agent, John Campisi.
The Scoop reports that John Campisi, Swank's agent at Creative Artists Agency, "has been romantically involved with the two-time Oscar winner since shortly after she split from Chad Lowe," according to the forthcoming National Enquirer.
Swank is cast as Holly in the film PS, I Love You, directed by Richard LaGravenese, currently in pre-production and will be shot in New York and Ireland.
Holly is a young widow who discovers that her late husband has left her 10 messages intended to help ease her pain and start a new life.
