Michael Douglas says his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones is the perfect woman - because she is beautiful and plays golf.
The 'Basic Instinct' actor claims it was love at first sight when he met the Welsh actress and was convinced from the moment he saw her he would spend his life with her.
Douglas, 61, told Night and Day magazine: 'As soon as I met Catherine I told her I wanted to have babies with her. And the moment I found out that she had the same birthday as me – tadaah. 'Then when I discovered she loved golf, I realised all my fantasies had come true. 'I've lucked out at this time in my life. I just lucked out. 'I'm so impressed by her intelligence, sense of humour and work ethic.' The couple are now happily married with two children, six-year-old Dylan and three-year-old Cerys. Douglas also revealed although his wife is a competent golfer she isn't better than him. He quipped: 'She looks better, but who's keeping score.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
