Kate Hudson rides the Butterscotch Stallion away from her marriage

Actress Kate Hudson and rocker Chris Robinson have separated.   Now, the details of their split are emerging; it’s not another filly, but the Butterscotch Stallion, Owen Wilson, who may have caused the couple's demise.

Us Weekly is reporting that Hudson, 27, and the Robinson, the Black Crowes singer who have a son, were rumored to have been on the outs all summer, with Hudson not making any appearances on Robinson’s U.S. tour, multiple unnamed sources confirm to Us Weekly that Hudson’s You, Me and Dupree co-star, actor Owen Wilson, 37, was the main reason behind the split.
 
An attorney for Owen Wilson tells Us Weekly  in a statement, “[Anything] that suggests that the separation of Ms. Hudson was caused by Mr. Wilson…is absolutely false.”)
 
Us Weekly is reporting Hudson has spent several nights at her co-star’s Santa Monica, California, casita in the last few weeks. “This is not a fling,” says an unnamed source “close to the couple.”

“Kate is crazy about him. Owen gives her so much attention, and she loves it. [That’s why] she wants her marriage to be over.”
 
Us Weekly is also reporting that three days before the split, an unnamed Wilson source stated: “Owen is not-so-secretly hoping she will leave Chris so they wouldn’t have to hide. He is falling for her.”
