I am sure Mel was lining up to cast the great and talented Deuce for Braveheart 2 or was hoping to direct him in Benchwarmers 2. Deuce is trying to get some free press from the stink.
You're the man Deuce. Holywood hot shots think they can get away with murder because they're rich and famous....oh wait....they do. Oops.
the guy apologised, abjectly, where's the tolerance + forgiveness? Or do you just want to kill the guy and have done?

Where's the tolerance? asks one respondant. For drunken, anti-Semitic tirades directed at a police officer who is trying to carry out his or her duty to serve and protect the public, the tolerance is nowhere. Note that, in his apology, Mr. Gibson said that anti-Semitic comments are intolerable. Thus, Mr. Schneider is just doing what Mr. Gibson has advocated publicly: showing zero tolerance for anti-Semitic comments.

VIRGIN MARY DEFILED ON “SOUTH PARK”
The Comedy Central show, “South Park,” reran an episode last night that the station’s officials previously said would not air again. Titled “Bloody Mary,” the episode depicts a statute of the Virgin Mary spraying blood from her vagina into the cartoon-face of Pope Benedict XVI.
Catholic League president Bill Donohue offered these remarks today:
“On December 29, 2005, we received a phone call from Tony Fox, the executive vice president for corporate communications at Comedy Central, informing us that there were no plans to rerun ‘Bloody Mary.’ Fox’s call followed a sustained protest by the Catholic League that resulted in getting Joe Califano, a member of Viacom’s board of directors (Viacom owns MTV and Comedy Central is a subsidiary of MTV), to intervene in this matter; unfortunately, Califano is no longer on Viacom’s board. But now Comedy Central has reneged on its promise.
“Those who work at Comedy Central are cowards: to this day, they refuse to air a mere picture of the prophet Muhammad. That’s because they know that if they do, some Muslims may kill them. Nice lesson they’re sending the rest of us.
“The ‘Bloody Mary’ episode was written, produced and distributed by men and women who were sober and have a long track record of attacking Christians. But it failed to hit Hollywood’s hot button. How revealing.”

Weird...I didn't call anyone sugar tits or a Jew the last time I was pulled over for going 40 miles over the speed limit, while drinkling Tequila and cussing out the cops. Bad actor or not I am pleased Rob had the guts to speak out. Geeze Mel, does God know you had an anti-semitic agenda with 'The Passion'? He might not be cool with that.
That's a shame. I would love to have seen Rob play Mel's son in the upcoming 'Signs 2'. His strange man-child physique would have made him a perfect fit for the role.

Mel Gibson is awesome and this is rediculous. We all say things we don't mean and so what if he did, we all entitled to an opionion. I think male hookers are appauling but this guy managed to play one twice!!!
My Goodness, yes Mr. Gibson has a drinking problem. And if indeed he said such things about the Jewish religion it is wrong....however, he is human, he did come from a sad family life, and he is a Christian who helped allot of people find God. Sometimes the devil and his demons takes awhile and then pops up in different ways. This is evidence of the devils work. It is also showing humans and their ability to forgive or have an opportunity to play victum. Mel Gibson apoligized and is seeking help. Leave it alone, let him seek help and peace with himself. We all need some forgiveness and prayer now and again!!!

well, my initial reaction is this: there are 2 separate issues in this letter both of which are valid worth consideration, however, the important thing is that they are indeed separate.
Issue #1: Biggotry (not to be be often confused with racism).
Issue #2: Alcoholism/ Addiction (one which inflicts about every 3rd person in this country or world.
Both are poignent and run deep within the veins in which our society either exsists/ progresses or is in the state of decline. You decide. Either way my 2 cents is 'right on, Rob S. for standing up...cuz if you stand up for something then what the hell do you have. At any rate, it's one of the big ones that make human exsistence meaningful.
In reference to the person claiming religion is just simplified nonsense (ie: good=god, evil=devil... saying it's wordplay)... think harder. That is not true in most languages, it just worked out that way in English. Try again when you've thought a little harder.
Mel Gibson is bigger than Deuce and other Jews like him. At least the guy apologised. How about the Jews apologizing for slaughtering women and children in Beirut and all over their history in the land of Palestine that they have occupied?

Too bad Rob didn't address the 600+ people killed by Israeli bombs in past couple weeks along with nearly a million civilians that have been displaced.
Mel may have said some stupid things while stone drunk to a couple police officers, but it's not quite on par with killing people.
I thought free speech (even offensive) was a right of every US Citizen. It's truly scary to see people crucified for mere words while others actively involved in destroying human lives barely register a blip on the radar of the collective American conscience.
