McCartney to Morgan: you “cost me a quarter-of-a-billion dollars.”

Sir Paul McCartney is preparing to be taken to the cleaners, according to close observers of the impending divorce with Heather Mills. It could involve a huge settlement of up to 138 million English pounds.
Former Daily Mirror editor, Piers Morgan, originally introduced Mills to McCartney in 1999. He revealed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that McCartney joked with him on the phone about the results of his matchmaking.
Speaking to Jay Leno, Morgan said, "He rang me and says, 'Cheers pal you just cost me a quarter-of-a-billion dollars.'
"I said, 'Anytime, Paul.'"
