According to the New York Daily News, Christie Brinkley met with her in hot-water husband, architect Peter Cook and his parents on Tuesday,
"I'd rather not comment," Brinkley, 52, told the paper as she left her estate in the Hamptons after the visit from the Cook familial entourage. "I just don't want to fuel this anymore."
Cook, 47, has made a point to be photographed wearing his wedding ring, Brinkley has not.
Brinkley's return to the Hamptons marks her return after the July 12 announcement that she was separating from Cook over the latest Long Island Lolita scandal involving her husband and 19 year old Diana Bianchi.
The Uptown Girl took her kids to Los Angeles to be with her parents and has kept out of sight ever since.
The Daily News reports that Cook and his elderly parents, Harry and Jean were driven in a town car from their Hamptons, Long Island home.
Taking a cue from Nicole Kidman-who gave roving paparazzi and reporters some beer on a hot Aussie day prior to her wedding, Brinkley handed the Daily News crew a box of Popsicles, saying, "Here, this is a little gift for you. I want you to take this. It's very, very hot out."
