Natalie Portman joins “The Simpsons” for new season

Popular animated series on Fox, The Simpsons, always has an interesting line-up of voices to flesh out their characters each season. This one is no different.Jerusalem born actress Natalie Portman, London born thespian Kiefer Sutherland and Detroit native rocker Jack White - born John Anthony Gillis into a family of 10 children, learning to play the guitar, drums and piano as a child, will be featured this new season of The Simpsons. Band The White Stripes voice themselves in an episode when Bart promotes a benefit concert to repair his arm that mauled by a tiger Lisa rescued from the local pound.Sutherland will voice a colonel when Homer lands in basic training.Chicago boy Joe Mantegna will reprise his role as Springfield's mob boss Fat Tony when the animated show begins its incredible 18th season.Hoboken, New Jersey son Joe Pantoliano and Mount Vernon, New York born Michael Imperioli guest-star as Fat Tony's thugs, Fox also announced. The 400th episode of The Simpsons will air in May.
