Kim Cattrall too hot for Kiwis to handle

Despite having the racy Nissan ad approved by New Zealand's Television Commercial Approvals Bureau before broadcast, New Zealanders have declined to entertain the carmaker's new commercial starring Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall from further airing on television after numerous complaints over the sexy content.
Cattrall stars in the ad about Nissan's new sedan. She gives her old character Samantha, “one more for the road,” literally.
"Why didn't you tell me it was so big, I just wasn't prepared for it? The all-new Nissan Tiida makes you feel really, really, really good inside. Ah! That was amazing. Absolutely fabulous! I mean the great body and the way you moved it." Cattrall’s lines from the ad.
Nissan said it was taking the commercial off the air before the board could consider the objections. "We made this decision in the interest of self-regulation and in response to public feedback," Nissan said in a released statement to the press.

She was awesome as Samantha
Kiwis loosen up!
That lady carries her sexually all too proud and well,I dont understand why should it bother anyone,i like her boldness!!!! :D
Golden Globe winning actress Kim Cattrall has many accolades. In addition to her Golden Globe® win she is also a three-time Golden Globe® and Emmy® nominee, as well as a Screen Actor's Guild award-winning actress who has received worldwide critical acclaim for her portrayal of the femme fatale, Samantha Jones, in the HBO hit series, 'Sex and the City'.
Oddly enough, Kim Catrall was asked to revive her unique 'SATC' role as Samantha, for the promotion of Nissan TIIDA, even though she was NEVER seen driving in that show(!!) Anyway, everyone knows that Hollywood actors make commercials outside the U.S. (there was one movie about it - 'Lost in Translation').

There is nothing offensive about this commercial.
Another ad taken down by people that are small...minded.
You've got to be kidding me.
That commercial for the Nissan Tiida with Kim Catrwas in no way offensive.
New Zealand, you're supposed to be the open-minded neighbour to Australia that Canada is to the U.S. And I thought Americans were uptight! Wow.
Ooops, sorry. I spelled Cattrall wrong in my previous post.
New Zealand's cencorship laws are actually much more relaxed than most other English speaking countries, but unfortunately a small number of fundamentalist christians spoil the fun like a usual. And perhaps Nissan NZ have been a bit oversensitive, probably bringing worse attention to themselves then if they just continued to air the ad.
I've seen the ads, they're not offensive in any significant way. That being said they aren't funny either.
The advertisements are neither offensive NOR FUNNY! They're just bla! Her acting is so meh! They needed a better director at this job. Gosh, makes you wonder how much a director, plays a part in everything. Even an excellent actress like her, couldn't pull it off. Shame!
well i stumbled upon this page quite by accident and laugh when i look at the date of these entries. i'm in nz and didn't even realise it has been this long since that god awful advert has been on my tv screen. like the previous, i don't find the ad offensive, and at the very least, funny. she is a much better actor than what it shows on the nissan ad, it's really quite painful to watch
