Naomi Campbell arrested in London

Reports are coming from the Sun that the 36-year-old pugnacious supermodel was arrested in London earlier this month (July 10th) for creating a disturbance outside the domicile of former boyfriend, Dubai prince Badr Jafar.

The Sun reports that Campbell “dropped by the residence in the wee hours of July 10 in order to seek the return of some possessions. A disturbance ensued and the police were called.”

The Metropolitan Police stated that “a woman had been arrested for disturbing the peace in London's Belgravia district. She was freed without charge several hours later and no further action is expected to be taken against her.”

According to the London Sun, to resolve the situation police were sent to retrieve Campbell's belongings from Jafar’s home.

Campbell recently appeared in court to answer to charges that she allegedly assaulted her former housekeeper with a cell phone. Campbell has denied these events. The prosecution and defense are working on a plea bargain in the case, which will resume Sept. 27th, according to the London Sun.

Gaby Gibson, one of Campbell's former maids, filed a complaint in New York's state Supreme Court last month, alleging that Campbell struck her over a pair of jeans.

Amanda Brack, personal assistant, accused the feisty frock model of assault, battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress.
