Some royal watchers have had their collective boats rocked by actress Demi Moore’s quick change at the lavish costume ball for Princess Beatrice.
According to detailed reports from the London Mirror, Moore changed into dungarees half way through the event.
Beatrice, the daughter of the Duke and Dutchess of York, had an elegant and pricey masked ball at Windsor Castle, celebrating her 18th birthday.
The three hundred guests, an assortment of real lords and ladies as well as pedestrian celebrities such as model Elle Macpherson were asked to dress in period costumes from 1888 –Princess Beatrice was born in August, 1988.
Demi Moore showed up in a stunning, white Victorian ball gown. Reports are she allegedly went and changed mid-party, slipping into something more comfortable.
“She went upstairs to change, then she came back a few minutes later in a black T-shirt, jeans and black pumps,” an unnamed source told the London Mirror, the paper reports that Moore ditched the gown because she wanted to “boogie nimbly with her hubby, Ashton Kutcher.”
“No one else saw fit to change their outfits, and most people who saw Demi before and after thought it showed a thorough lack of respect to the hosts,” one unnamed guest reported to the paper. “You wouldn't even wear jeans to go to a decent nightclub let alone a royal residence.” Reported by the London Mirror.
