Johnny Depp awarded Paris’ highest honors

Actor Johnny Depp was awarded Paris' highest honor during the premiere Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest in the City of Lights, Thursday night.
The adored Kentuckian was presented with the Grand Medaille de Vermeil by Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe.
The honor is awarded to those who demonstrate devotion to the city of Paris.
Depp attended the premiere with his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, stated, "This country itself, the city itself has been very kind to me. It introduced me to my beautiful girl Vanessa, gave me two beautiful kids - (it) doesn't get better than that."
