Nicky Hilton sticks to family business

Heiress Nicky Hilton is avoiding the limelight like sibling Paris, and is getting into the core family business. Hilton is launching her own hotel and renovating two existing buildings to open the Nicky O South Beach project in Miami, Florida later this year.The 22-year-old socialite will design the interiors herself. Nicky, whose middle name is Olivia, will develop the new hotel, featuring a $5,000-a-night penthouse suite designed by fashion king, Roberto Cavalli. Hilton is the granddaughter of hotelier Conrad Hilton, and is certain her Miami hotel project will be a huge success, planning to follow up the development on her first boutique property with a second in Chicago, Illinois. Hilton says, "I've been around hotels my whole life, and I know a good hotel when I see one." Hilton's new 94-room boutique/condominium development will include entertainment news tickers in the elevator, and a signature scent.
