Marcia Cross “desperate” to have a baby

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross and new husband Tom Mahoney are so eager to have a baby, that they visited a fertility clinic two days after getting hitched last month.
The couple was spotted by roving reporters entering the California Fertility Partners in West Los Angeles late June.
According to Star magazine, the couple looked elated after they left the clinic: "Marcia dialed a number on her cell and it looked like she was passing on really good news." The unnamed source tells Star.
The clinic specializes in every imaginable treatment plan in the latest reproductive technologies, including in vitro fertilization and surrogacy.
Cross pal Lori Loughlin told TV Guide magazine that Cross was even considering adoption in her bid to become a Mother. "She (Cross) wants to start a family. Marcia would love to have children."
