Antonio Banderas “screams” summons Los Angeles Police

If you ever doubted that World Cup Soccer wasn’t on the radar of most Americans, this story brings it home.Actor and rabid World Cup fan, Antonio Banderas, “was so loud while cheering on his native Spain in the World Cup on television, police were reportedly called to his California home.” According to the Los Angeles Times.Neighbors, unaware of the big World Cup doings, were so worried by the "unearthly screams" emanating from the Malibu mansion Banderas shares with wife, Melanie Griffith, they called Los Angeles police. The screams were for his Spanish soccer team as they were defeated in the tournament in the second round against France,According to PageSix.com, “when officers arrived, Griffith greeted them at the door and explained, ‘Oh, that's Antonio yelling for Spain in the World Cup.’ “
