i think that would be really cool for johnny depp to play the part of hamelt i do think that he has had enough experiance in the acting field to do such a difficult role but the thing is acting in a movie and acting in a theatrical production are way differnt things there is no cut redo that scene it is you mess up you work off it and improvise wich i think he will be good at but still it is a challenging task

Has Mr. Depp been trained in Shakespearean acting? You don't just 'do' Hamlet when you 'feel like it' might be the right time in your career. It is one of the most challenging roles any actor can accept in the theatre. I think Mr. Depp would be doing his career (and Mr. Shakespeare's writing), a great injustice to attempt to do such a challenging role without severe consideration of the consequences.

Well, Johnny Depp doesn't do anything halfway ... he puts his whole heart and soul into it, so I think it would be fantastic to see him play Hamlet or any of the Shakespeare characters. He certainly has the talent to pull it off and it would give him a chance to show another side of his abilities. Bravo Johnny ... you go for it!
