Actor Woody Harrelson gets in scuffle with paparazzo

Following a similar event that happened with Bruce Willis, actor Woody Harrelson,45, has been involved in an alleged assault with a paparazzo outside celebrity club Elephant.

The Los Angeles Police Department is conducting a criminal investigation into the incident that occurred late in the evening.

The Natural Born Killer star was leaving the club with three women and two men when snapper Josh Levine and other paparazzi began taking pictures.

Harrelson asked Levine to stop shooting. According to reports, Harrelson allegedly walked over to Levine, put his hand on the camera and again asked him to stop taking photographs.  A fight erupted between the two, which was captured by another photographer at the scene.

According to the website TMZ.com Harrelson's publicist Ina Treciokas issued a statement. “Unfortunately, this is not the first or last time the paparazzi have provoked an incident with a celebrity…Mr Harrelson is evaluating all of his legal options against the photographer."

Levine has filed a criminal complaint against the actor and Los Angeles Police Detective John Padilla says an investigation is ongoing.

According to Levine, "we're going to present it to the District Attorney's office as early as today "With the tapes and all, it's pretty good evidence."
