Pop star Pink defends Spears
By M&C News Jul 1, 2006, 15:25 GMT
Pink surprised fans at a Los Angeles show this past Wednesday by dedicating a song to pop star, Britney Spears.
Pink played to a sold-out crowd at Avalon and dedicated Don't Let Me Get Me to Britney Spears.
The Get the Party Started star told the audience she had always loved Spears, wanting everyone to send the beleaguered new mum some "good energy and love, because she could use it right now".
Spears has faced an enormous amount of criticism, from her parenting skills, choice of a mate, unhealthy decision to dye her hair dark brown during her second pregnancy, and lack of professional handlers grooming her before going on national television.
The crowd’s reaction was mixed, both cheering and breaking out in loud bursts of laughter, according to website TMZ.com.
