Eminem and Kimberly Mathers, round two divorce

Rapper/ Actor Eminem, 33, and wife Kimberly Mathers, 31, have initiated divorce proceedings behind closed doors in Michigan's Macomb County Circuit Court. The couple married January 2006 for the second time, and papers were subsequently filed for their divorce in less than 3 months. Their first marriage lasted approximately two years.Wife Kimberly Mathers is seeking financial support, attorney fees and joint custody of the couple's 10-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade. Parties for both were unavailable for comment to the press. Eminem, his real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III, escaped any media or press attention by slipping in and out of the courtroom unseen. According to press reports, "Court officer Mark Mileski said the rapper was present for the hour-long meeting before Court Referee David Elias." Reports state that "a settlement conference on the divorce is scheduled for Sept. 19."
